SAM MARSH MEMORIAL · MAY 30, 2026
Forever
Sam.
A smile. A disc. A community that remembers.
On May 30, we gathered at Cottonwood Creek to celebrate Sam Marsh. These are the people and moments from a day held in his honor.
THE STORY IS SAM
A day worth
remembering.
The Sam Marsh Memorial Madness/Master Doubles brought our community together at Cottonwood Creek in Colorado Springs. A day of throws, familiar faces, new friendships and shared memories.
Thank you to every player, volunteer, sponsor, friend and family member who helped make the day possible. This album is a place to come back, find your people and remember Sam.
FOR SAM. ALWAYS.
The day lives on.
This thank-you took longer than it should have to reach you. The love behind it never faded.
To every player, volunteer, sponsor, friend and family member who showed up for Sam: thank you. Doug and Theresa, we send you both our love. Sam will always be part of this community.
A big thank-you to Lauren Force for all the photography. Your photographs let us revisit the people, the fun and the memories that made this day special.
Thank you to presenting sponsor SERVPRO and all our supporters: Doug Marsh Homes, Avoda, Big Dudes Little Discs, On Target Disc Golf, Gearonimo, Pure Bouldering, Les Schwab Tires, Magnum Shooting Center, Salon Kreed, ProForm Barber, Lanecio Apparel Co., Flamingo & Friends, BluSky, True North Restoration, Preferred Dental, Maximum Performance Heating, Kona Ice, Latimer’s Kitchen & Catering, Mr. Awesome 3D and Pyrohyzer.
Film description and music credit
Sam smiles with a disc. His parents, Doug and Theresa, sit together on a rock wall. Players throw, volunteers serve food, friends laugh, and the community celebrates. The film thanks every sponsor and photographer Lauren Force, then closes with Sam and the words “For Sam. Always.” Music only; no spoken dialogue.
